U.S. Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., said Immigration and Customs Enforcement should keep a running, public database showing which criminal immigrants in the country illegally have been released back into communities, according to a post on his official website tagged “WOW Act.”
“Sunlight is the BEST disinfectant,” the post states. “ICE ought to keep a running, PUBLIC database that shows exactly which CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS were released back onto our streets. Public safety comes FIRST!!”
The post does not provide additional details on the proposal referenced by the tag “WOW Act.”
