SLED Charges Sumter County Man With Alcohol-Related Crimes

A 37-year-old Sumter County man faces multiple alcohol violation charges following an investigation assisted by two local agencies.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Alonso Terrell Felder, 37, with alcohol-related crimes on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, according to SLED.

Felder was charged with unlawful storage or possession of alcoholic liquors in a place of business, first offense; unlawful sale, manufacture, etc. of alcoholic liquors, first offense; and failure to secure a required beer or wine sale permit, according to SLED.

The investigation was assisted by the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office and the Manning Police Department, according to SLED.

Felder was booked into the Clarendon County Detention Center, according to SLED.

The case will be prosecuted by the 3rd Circuit Solicitor’s Office, according to SLED.
