An 18-year-old former convenience store employee faces breach of trust and counterfeit game ticket charges after an investigation requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged a former Spartanburg convenience store employee with lottery fraud following an investigation requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery.
Jayda Delise Norton, 18, was charged Thursday with breach of trust with fraudulent intent involving an amount between $2,000 and $10,000, and with intent to defraud through counterfeit game tickets, according to SLED.
Norton was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center, SLED said.
Additional details on the allegations are contained in arrest warrants, according to the agency.
The case will be prosecuted by the 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, SLED said.
