A 25-year-old woman was charged with presenting a false insurance claim and three counts of forgery after a state investigation requested by the Department of Insurance.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Kelsey Michelle Moore, 25, of Greenville County, with presenting a false insurance claim and three counts of forgery, according to SLED.
Moore was charged Wednesday with Presenting a False Claim for Insurance involving an amount of more than $2,000 but less than $10,000, along with three counts of Forgery involving amounts less than $10,000, SLED said.
The South Carolina Department of Insurance requested the investigation, according to SLED. Additional details are contained in warrants attached to the release.
Moore was booked into the Greenville County Detention Center, SLED said.
The South Carolina Department of Insurance will prosecute the case, according to SLED.
