COLUMBIA, S.C. — Fewer South Carolina residents were affected by security breaches in 2025, according to the S.C. Department of Consumer Affairs.

The department is also promoting a guide called “Ditch the Pitch,” which offers guidance for guarding against scams, according to the agency.
