A 62-year-old Florence County man faces three breach of trust charges following an investigation requested by the state Department of Motor Vehicles, according to SLED.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Terry Lamar Holmes, 62, with three counts of breach of trust with fraudulent intent involving $10,000 or more, according to SLED.
The charges were filed Friday, July 10, 2026, according to SLED.
The investigation was requested by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, according to SLED.
Holmes was booked into the Chesterfield County Detention Center, according to SLED.
The case will be prosecuted by the 4th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, according to SLED.
