The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged a 36-year-old Marion County man with unlawfully selling and storing liquor without a required beer or wine permit.

MULLINS, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Liston Swinton III, 36, with failure to secure a required beer or wine sale permit, unlawful sale of liquor, first offense, and unlawful storage of liquor in a place of business, first offense, according to SLED.
The charges were filed Monday, according to SLED. The Mullins Police Department requested the investigation, according to SLED.
Swinton was booked into the Marion County Detention Center, according to SLED.
The case will be prosecuted by the 12th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, according to SLED.
