SLED Charges Spartanburg County Man in Lottery Ticket Fraud Case

A 42-year-old Spartanburg County man faces a counterfeit lottery ticket charge following an investigation requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Tyquentin Fitzgerald Drummond, 42, with intent to defraud using counterfeit game tickets on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, according to SLED.

The South Carolina Education Lottery requested the investigation, SLED said.

Drummond was booked into the Greenville County Detention Center, according to SLED.

The 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office will prosecute the case, SLED said.
