A 19-year-old former convenience store employee faces three counts of counterfeiting lottery tickets following an investigation requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery.
CHARLESTON, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged a former convenience store employee with three counts of intent to defraud through counterfeit game tickets, according to SLED.
Kelis Cordasha Haynes, 19, was charged Aug. 18, according to SLED. The South Carolina Education Lottery had requested the investigation.
Haynes was booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center in Charleston County, according to SLED.
The 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office will prosecute the case, according to SLED.
