SLED Charges Darlington County Woman in Lottery Ticket Fraud Case

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged a 55-year-old woman with intent to defraud using counterfeit game tickets following a request from the South Carolina Education Lottery.

DARLINGTON, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Stacey Ann McFarland, 55, with Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets on Wednesday, according to SLED.

The investigation was requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery, according to SLED.

McFarland was booked into the Darlington County Detention Center, according to SLED.

The case will be prosecuted by the 4th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, according to SLED.
