SLED Charges Horry County Woman With Lottery Fraud

A 21-year-old Horry County woman faces a fraud charge tied to counterfeit game tickets following an investigation requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery.

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Gianna Bella Fazio, 21, with intent to defraud and counterfeit game tickets on Thursday, July 9, 2026, according to SLED.

The investigation was requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery, according to SLED.

Fazio was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center in Horry County, according to SLED.

The case will be prosecuted by the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, according to SLED.
