U.S. Sen. Tim Scott is accepting applications for fall 2026 internships in his Washington and South Carolina offices.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., is now accepting applications for internships in his Washington, D.C., North Charleston, Columbia and Greenville offices for fall 2026, according to Scott’s office.
The internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the chance to work with public service professionals and gain practical experience in constituent services, federal policy and other areas, according to Scott’s office. Students of all majors are welcome to apply, particularly those studying governmental affairs, public policy or communications.
In the Washington office, interns will research legislation, attend congressional hearings and briefings, assist with press tasks and help manage correspondence, according to Scott’s office. Duties also include answering phones and other administrative tasks.
In the South Carolina offices in North Charleston, Columbia and Greenville, interns will work on state-based projects while answering phones, completing research and assisting with day-to-day office operations, according to Scott’s office. Interns in those offices help with issues affecting South Carolinians, the office said.
Internship hours are flexible to accommodate students’ course schedules but generally run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, according to Scott’s office. Students may also be able to earn course credit for completing the program.
