The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Landen Austin Moore with murder after an investigation requested by the McCormick County Sheriff’s Office.

MCCORMICK, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Landen Austin Moore, 17, with murder on Monday, according to SLED.
The McCormick County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation, according to SLED. Moore was booked into the McCormick County Detention Center, according to SLED.
A 16-year-old also involved in the incident was transported to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, according to SLED.
SLED said its investigation is active and ongoing, and more information may be available as the case continues. The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, according to SLED.
