A 54-year-old woman faces a counterfeit lottery ticket charge following an investigation requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged a Cherokee County woman with defrauding the state lottery using counterfeit tickets, according to SLED.
Michelle Paysour Quinn, 54, was charged Friday with Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets, SLED said.
The investigation began at the request of the South Carolina Education Lottery, according to SLED.
Quinn was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center, SLED said.
The 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office will prosecute the case, according to SLED.
