A 49-year-old woman was booked into the Chesterfield County Detention Center after SLED charged her with counterfeiting lottery game tickets, according to the S.C. Law Enforcement Division.

CHESTERFIELD, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Monique Patrice Nivens, 49, with intent to defraud and counterfeit game tickets on Thursday, July 16, 2026, according to SLED.
The investigation was requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery, according to SLED.
Nivens was booked into the Chesterfield County Detention Center, according to SLED.
The case will be prosecuted by the 4th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, according to SLED.
