A former Chester city public works employee faces a breach of trust charge following a SLED investigation requested by local police.

CHESTER, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Monecious Raykila Woods, 38, with breach of trust with fraudulent intent, value $2,000 or less, on Tuesday, according to SLED.
The Chester Police Department requested the SLED investigation, according to the agency.
Woods was booked into the Chester County Detention Center, according to SLED.
The case will be prosecuted by the 6th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, according to SLED.
