The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged a former Midlands Regional Center employee after the center requested an investigation.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Nadia Aiyanna Humphery, 25, with abuse of a vulnerable adult on Wednesday, according to SLED.
The Midlands Regional Center, which is operated by the Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, requested the SLED investigation, according to SLED.
Humphery was booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Richland County, according to SLED.
The case will be prosecuted by the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, according to SLED.
