A 65-year-old Saluda County man faces multiple attempted murder charges after a SLED investigation requested by the Saluda County Sheriff's Office.

SALUDA, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Timothy James Osterfield, 65, with two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime on Tuesday, according to SLED.
Osterfield was booked into the Saluda County Detention Center, where he was served with an additional attempted murder charge, according to SLED.
The Saluda County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation, according to SLED.
The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, according to SLED.
