COLUMBIA, S.C. — The S.C. State Library is displaying a photography exhibit titled “Revolutionary South Carolina: A Photographic Journey by Marie and Eddie Goff,” according to the State Library.
The exhibit commemorates the 250th anniversary of the American Revolutionary War through a collection of photographs highlighting historic places that shaped South Carolina during the conflict, according to the State Library.
Marie and Eddie Goff, a retired brigadier general and colonel respectively, took the photographs, according to the State Library. The State Library said the Goffs have dedicated their post-military years to exploration and storytelling through photography.
The collection depicts fields once marked by conflict now standing in peaceful reflection and preserved landmarks connected to the Revolutionary War, according to the State Library.
The exhibit will remain on display at the State Library through June 30, according to the State Library. The State Library is located at 1500 Senate Street in Columbia and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to the State Library.
