The S.C. Commission on Higher Education has set dates for virtual workshops to help high school counselors and administrators navigate the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship Early Application cycle.
The S.C. Commission on Higher Education will hold a series of virtual workshops this fall to prepare high school counselors and administrators for the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship Early Application cycle, according to the commission.
The sessions come in two formats. One, called the Palmetto Fellows Early Application Workshop, walks participants through the full digital application process, including how to submit Early Applications electronically. The other, the Palmetto Fellows Basics & Updates Workshop, is designed as a shorter refresher for experienced users, covering eligibility reminders, recent changes and common mistakes to avoid, according to the commission.
Three sessions of the full Application Workshop are scheduled: Sept. 14 at 1 p.m., Sept. 29 at 9:30 a.m., and Oct. 2 at 11 a.m.
Two sessions of the Basics & Updates Workshop are scheduled: Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. and Oct. 7 at noon.
All sessions will be held via Zoom, and registration links for each date are available through the commission. High school counselors, school administrators and association partners are encouraged to register for the session that fits their needs, according to the commission.
