The South Carolina State Library has released its complete list of electronic South Carolina state publications for June, according to the S.C. State Library.
The list is part of the South Carolina Digital State Documents Depository, which provides electronic access to state agency publications, according to the State Library. These publications provide citizens with information about state government, including statistics, reports, and data on a range of topics, according to the State Library.
Among the June publications is a report titled “Keystone Drought Events in South Carolina,” produced by the South Carolina State Climatology Office at the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, according to the State Library. The State Climatology Office was created in 1986 and archives and distributes climatological data to state agencies, educational and research institutions, and private citizens, according to the State Library.
South Carolinians experienced drought throughout the state during 2026, according to the State Library. The report states that this was not the state’s first drought.
In the March 2026 report, the State Climatology Office details significant drought events in South Carolina since 1900 and examines how the extreme weather events affected the state’s people, agriculture and economy, according to the State Library.
More information about the state publications depository is available through the State Library’s online guide, according to the State Library.
