A 71-year-old Spartanburg County man faces multiple sex crime charges following an investigation requested by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged a 71-year-old Spartanburg County man with criminal sexual conduct, criminal sexual conduct with a minor and incest, according to SLED.
Howard Thomas Henderson was charged Tuesday with criminal sexual conduct with a minor victim between 11 and 14 years old, second-degree criminal sexual conduct, and incest, SLED said.
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Office requested that SLED investigate the case, according to the agency.
Henderson was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center, SLED said.
The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the case, according to SLED.
