The S.C. State Library and the South Carolina American Revolution Sestercentennial Commission have produced a free educational booklet for elementary-aged children about the state’s role in the Revolutionary War.

The South Carolina State Library, in partnership with the South Carolina American Revolution Sestercentennial Commission, known as SC250, has released a children’s activity booklet titled “South Carolina’s Guide to the American Revolutionary War,” according to the State Library.
The free booklet is designed for elementary-aged children and includes games, puzzles and coloring pages highlighting South Carolina’s Revolutionary War history, according to the State Library. It introduces important figures, places and events that shaped South Carolina during its fight for independence, according to the State Library.
Copies are available at the State Library and at its outreach events, or can be downloaded from the State Library’s website, according to the State Library.
